SELFISH SESSION - GOLDEN ALE


Selfish because this beer is one we'd rather keep for ourselves.

An easy drinking top fermented blond beer with a nice bitterness

from the hops, a nice body and good carbonisation.


An ideal beer for some quality 'me time'.  Put your feet up and have yourself a selfish session...


  • Blond
  • 6.7%  ABV
  • 35 IBU


Ingredients:  Water, barley malt (pilsner, pale ale),  hops (Magnum,

                      Cascade) and yeast.

THAT'S MISS BROWN TO YOU - BROWN ALE

 

Back to basics with this one.  Keep it simple we thought and we decided we wanted a nice, not overly sweet, brown ale with a nice

full maltiness and only a hint of bitterness from the dark malts...

 

  • Brown
  • 6.9% ABV
  • 15IBU

 

Ingredients:  water, barley malt (pilsner, cara 50, chocolate),

                       challenger hops and yeast.

The name of this beer is a tribute to that legendary Jazz and Soul singer Billie Holiday and her song 'Miss Brown to You'

CECI N'IPA...   INDIA PALE ALE


An IPA, but not a classic IPA with somewhat of a Belgian twist.

Two classic American hops and a new Belgian variety of hops.


A bit of biscuit malt to add some 'cookie' on the tongue and elderflower to break and balance out the  bitterness.


  • Amber
  • 7.6% ABV
  • 65 IBU
  • 3 types of hops


Ingredients:  water, barley malt (pale ale, Cara 50 & biscuit), wheat

malt, hops (Chinook, Amarillo, exp. variety: Warneton 7784),

elderflower & yeast.

ALL GOOD THINGS ARE 3      TRIPEL

Ingredients:  water, barley malt (pilsner), hops (Challenger, Saaz), spices 

                       and aromatics (coriander seed, bitter and sweet orange peel,

                       Dayap lime peel), pale candi sugar and yeast

HERETIQUE - STRONG DARK ALE


A strong and solid dark beer, the color does not come from dark malts but from the herbs.  Not for the faint hearted...


It's name is a reference to our brewmaster's past life as a master brewer for the Unibroue brewery (Quebec, Canada).


A beer worth burning for...    only for heretics

  • 9.6% ABV
  • 18 IBU
  • Herbs !


Ingredients:  water, barley malt (pilsner, pale ale, caramel), Saaz hops,

                      spices and aromatics (bitter orange peel, star anice, cumin,

                      cardamone, liquorice, chili pepper, unrefined cane sugar,

                      caramel sugar and yeast.

JAZZ' BLACK OATMEAL DELIGHT - STOUT

 

Oatmeal gives this (Russian Imperial) oatmeal stout a smooth, almost velvety mouthfeel.  The atypical abbey yeast we used is responsible for an uncommon fruitiness.

  • 21 IBU

 

Ingredients:  water, barley malt (pale ale, biscuit, chocolate), black

                       roasted barley, Oatmeal, Fuggles hops and yeast.
